About Fogarty's Lake Flower Marina
Fogarty's Lake Flower Marina is a locally owned and operated full service marina, dealership, and
watersports proshop. We are located in Saranac Lake in the Heart of the Adirondack Park right next to
Mountain Mist Ice Cream. Our shop sits right on Lake Flower with access to over 20 miles of pristine
waterways.
We specialize in all aspects of the boating culture from boat and water sports sales to repair and storage.
We are an authorized Honda Marine and Mercury Marine dealership. The power boats we offer are Nautiques,
Bennington pontoon boats, Lund fishing boats, as well as a variety of used boats. We also offer Boatmate and
Load Rite trailers.
Location is Everything
At Fogarty’s we are a team of people who are passionate about the area we live in. Almost all of our staff
live within one mile of a large lake. We live, play and work among some of the most beautiful waterways in
America. We love boating, skiing, wakesurfing, fishing and paddleboarding!
We are surrounded by hundreds of waterways. Not all are navigable by powered boats, however, many are. Here
is a partial list of some amazing local waterways: Upper Saranac Lake, Middle Saranac Lake, Lower Saranac,
Lake Flower, Oseetah Lake, Kiwassa Lake, Lake Clear, Upper Saint Regis Lake, Spitfire Lake, Lower Saint
Regis Lake, Tupper Lake, Cranberry Lake, Long Lake, Raquette Lake, Lake Placid, and Lake Champlain.
Some of us can even take a boat to work!
Our Mission
Our Mission is to be your first choice in marine needs by delivering products of outstanding quality, while providing exceptional service in a friendly and knowledgeable way.
Our History
Brothers Terence and Jay Fogarty purchased both the Marina and ice cream stand in 2001, with the idea that
Terence would run the Marina and Jay would run the ice cream stand during the summer. The marina was
previously owned and operated by Charlie Keough since the 1970s and was called Keough Marine. Before
Charlie, Freeman (Frank) Baker was the owner of Baker Boat Boat shop. Mr. Baker was the owner of the then
famous, one and two man paddle boats. Terence’s love for being on the water, passion for waterskiing, and
background in mechanical engineering made for the perfect fit. The ice cream stand was previously owned by
Lynn Keough and had been serving delicious frozen treats for decades. During his younger years, Jay had
actually worked at the stand in the summers.
Over the last few decades quite a few changes have happened to the Marina. From what started as a 3 person
staff we have grown now to around a 20 person staff in season. We are looking forward to the future changes
that are to come and growth we will see in the coming years!
